I am an experienced Leadership and Organisational Development Specialist and Independent Consultant, who cares passionately about adding value to the individuals, teams and organisations I work with. Following early promotion to a Director role in the NHS, I have spent much of my career in a Consultancy role enjoying building relationships with Chief Executives, Directors and Senior Managers in the NHS, the wider Public Sector and Charitable Sector. I particularly enjoy using my energy, experience and skill in the service of helping organisations and the people working within them thrive.
My key areas of practice are:
Board and Executive Development
Facilitating Workshops and Events (including team development)
I use a strength based approach in my work purposefully focussing on building on what is already working for the individual or organisation and using this to build confidence in co-creating the future that is most wanted. I believe passionately in working collaboratively with my clients, taking the time to understand their context and requirements in order to co-design an intervention or process that will add value in a sustainable way. For larger assignments, I have access to a small group of associates with complementary skills and experience.
My practice is underpinned and informed by: a Masters degree in Organisation Development; a postgraduate coaching qualification and Appreciative Inquiry practitioner training. I am also qualified to use a number of developmental and diagnostic instruments including the Myers Briggs Type Indicator, the 16PF personality tool, The Hogan Development Survey, Level A and B psychometric tests, the Strength Deployment Inventory an Influencing Strategies diagnostic tool, and the Transactional analysis framework.
